A SLOW AND SIMPLE EXPERIENCE.
Walk through our food forest, peruse books in our family library, spend time in our printmaking studio and see some art or make your own, and enjoy a cup of tea in our forest home.
What is a Forest Experience?
A Forest Experience is our way of sharing the slow and simple days we spend in our food forest here in Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Our family cherishes time together with nature, books, and art, and we are happy to share these with our guests. Our food forest has roots in permaculture, so you will get to learn a bit (or a lot, depends on you!) about this design framework as well.
More specific things you’ll get to enjoy in this experience…
You will see and learn about at least 100 plants growing in the food forest.
You may taste some of the edible plants if you wish to do so.
Learn how permaculture helped in growing the food forest.
Peruse books in our Forest Library, with our personal collection of books on permaculture, nature, and art.
Visit the Foot Forest Press and Gallery, a printmaking studio run by a foot doctor and a permaculturist.
Enjoy our favorite tea and a light snack.
A Forest Experience can last anywhere from one to two hours, depending on your preference and engagement with the experience. Guests can always book another visit again to broaden and deepen their own Forest Experience.
Please note that we can only accommodate up to four guests at a time.
